How This Specific Blook Odds Calculator Works
Most pack calculators only show you the overall average value across a pack. This Advanced Blooket Calculator is built for a much more focused mission: when you are chasing a specific rare Blook—whether it's the coveted Red Astronaut, the elusive Rainbow Panda, or a high-tier Legendary like the Megalodon or King—what are your actual statistical chances of pulling it?
Instead of guessing or burning through your hard-earned tokens blind, our tool calculates the exact binomial probability distribution for any selected Blook across all active Blooket packs. You can test your budget in Token # mode (which factors in duplicate resale recycling) or simulate an exact opening run in Pack # mode.
You can also add up to 3 Blooks simultaneously using the comparison slots above. This lets you directly compare drop odds, expected pack counts, and cumulative probability curves side-by-side before you spend a single token.
Token Budget Cheat Sheet: How Many Tokens to Pull a Chroma?
One of the most common questions in the Blooket community is: "How many tokens do I need to guarantee a Chroma?" The short mathematical answer is that random pack openings never provide a 100% guarantee. However, you can calculate the exact token thresholds needed to reach 50% (a coin flip), 75% (solid odds), and 90% (high confidence) likelihoods.
The table below outlines the realistic numbers for popular chase Blooks across standard packs:
| Blook & Pack | Rarity & Rate | Packs (50% Chance) | Tokens (No Resell) | Tokens (With Resell) | Packs (90% Safe Target) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ice Slime Ice Monster Pack (20 tokens) |
Chroma (0.08%) | 866 packs | 17,320 tokens | ~6,780 tokens | 2,877 packs |
| Colored Astronauts Space Pack (20 tokens) |
Chroma (0.05%) | 1,386 packs | 27,720 tokens | ~10,840 tokens | 4,604 packs |
| King of Hearts Wonderland Pack (20 tokens) |
Chroma (0.05%) | 1,386 packs | 27,720 tokens | ~10,950 tokens | 4,604 packs |
| Rainbow Panda Safari Pack (20 tokens) |
Chroma (0.02%) | 3,465 packs | 69,300 tokens | ~27,100 tokens | 11,512 packs |
| Megalodon Aquatic Pack (20 tokens) |
Legendary (0.20%) | 346 packs | 6,920 tokens | ~2,700 tokens | 1,150 packs |
| King Medieval Pack (15 tokens) |
Legendary (1.00%) | 69 packs | 1,035 tokens | ~410 tokens | 230 packs |
Notice the difference with Resell? Because selling back duplicate Common, Uncommon, and Rare blooks refunds tokens immediately, you effectively spend less than half the listed token cost to achieve the same pack volume.
Exact Chances vs. Cumulative Chance: What the Charts Show
Understanding how to read probability data will completely transform how you approach pack openings. We provide two distinct chart modes at the bottom of the calculator:
📊 Exact Chances (Distribution)
This bar chart displays the Probability Mass Function (PMF). It breaks down the exact likelihood of pulling specifically 0 copies, 1 copy, 2 copies, or more. It shows the real risk of getting zero pulls versus hitting multiple jackpots within your target budget.
📈 Cumulative Chance (S-Curve)
This smooth curve displays the Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF). It shows your running probability of obtaining at least one copy as you spend more tokens. Notice how it rises quickly at first and then gradually plateaus near 90–99%, illustrating where diminishing returns begin.
Hovering your mouse or finger anywhere along the cumulative curve provides an instant readout of the exact token count and your corresponding pull odds at that exact point.
The Resell Strategy: How Duplicate Recycling Yields 2.5x More Packs
If you are hunting for rare Blooks without reselling your duplicates, you are leaving over half of your opening potential on the table. When you open a pack in Blooket, the lower-rarity items can be sold back to the shop:
- Uncommon Blooks: Sell for 5 tokens
- Rare Blooks: Sell for 20 tokens (pays for a full pack!)
- Epic Blooks: Sell for 75 tokens (nearly 4 full packs!)
- Legendary Blooks: Sell for 200 tokens (10 full packs)
Take the popular Space Pack as a prime example. The pack costs 20 tokens. Because of the weighted drop rates of its Uncommons, Rares, and Epics, the expected resale value of an average opened pack is approximately 12.18 tokens.
When you subtract that 12.18 token refund from the 20-token sticker price, your effective cost per pack is only ~7.82 tokens. If you start with a budget of 10,000 tokens:
- Without Resell: 10,000 ÷ 20 = 500 packs
- With Duplicate Resell: 10,000 ÷ 7.82 ≈ 1,279 packs
That is more than 2.5 times as many pack openings, boosting your chance of hitting a 0.05% Chroma Astronaut from roughly 22.1% up to 47.3% with the exact same initial bankroll!
Pack-by-Pack Drop Rates & Chroma Breakdown
Every Blooket pack has its own drop table, token price, and resale characteristics. Here is what you need to know before picking where to spend:
Space Pack (20 Tokens)
The fan favorite. Features 7 different Chroma Astronauts (Red, Blue, Green, Pink, Yellow, Orange, and Black), each possessing a 0.05% drop rate. It also houses the Legendary UFO at 0.45%. If you just want any Chroma, the combined odds across all colored Astronauts make the Space Pack one of the most rewarding targets.
Ice Monster Pack (20 Tokens)
Contains the Ice Slime, which holds a 0.08% drop rate—making it statistically the easiest permanent Chroma to pull in Blooket. It also offers the Frozen Fossil at 0.05%, making it the top recommendation for players seeking their first Chroma badge.
Safari Pack (20 Tokens)
Home to the prestigious Rainbow Panda, which sits at an ultra-rare 0.02% drop rate (1 in 5,000 packs). Only pursue this pack when you have saved tens of thousands of tokens and understand the heavy grind involved.
Medieval Pack (15 Tokens)
At only 15 tokens per opening, the Medieval Pack is the budget king. Its top prize is the King (Legendary, 1.00% drop rate), followed by the Dragon (Epic, 1.00%). Because packs are cheaper, you get more rolls per token than almost any other pack.
Aquatic Pack (20 Tokens)
Famous for the Megalodon (Legendary, 0.20%) and Baby Shark (0.50%). Its high concentration of Rare and Epic sea creatures makes its resale return exceptionally strong.
The Gambler's Fallacy: Understanding Dry Streaks
A frequent frustration among players sounds like this: "I just opened 3,000 Space Packs and didn't get a Red Astronaut. The game must be rigged, or my next pack is guaranteed!"
In mathematics, this misconception is known as the Gambler's Fallacy. In Blooket, each pack opening is an independent event with replacement. The game does not track your previous failures, and there is no hidden "pity counter."
Whether you have opened zero packs or 5,000 packs, your chance of pulling a 0.05% Chroma on your very next pull is always exactly 1 in 2,000 (0.05%).
Smart Bankroll Tips:
- Bank your tokens first: Instead of spending your daily 500-token cap immediately, save up for a week or two until you reach 5,000 to 15,000 tokens. Opening in bulk makes resale recycling significantly smoother.
- Pick one target: Splitting 10,000 tokens across three different packs reduces your odds of hitting a rare item in any of them. Pick one pack and commit your budget to it.
- Set realistic expectations: Check our calculator's 50% and 90% targets before you start clicking so you know what kind of variance to expect.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the easiest Chroma Blook to get in Blooket?
Among permanent packs, the Ice Slime in the Ice Monster Pack is the easiest Chroma to unlock, with a base drop rate of 0.08% (1 in 1,250 packs). Seasonal packs (such as the Lovely Pack or Lucky Pack) occasionally feature event Chromas that can be purchased directly or obtained with 100% certainty for a set token fee.
Why does 2,000 packs not guarantee a 0.05% drop rate Blook?
While 1 ÷ 0.0005 equals 2,000 packs, probabilities do not add together linearly. The chance of
failing on any single pack is 99.95% (0.9995). Across 2,000 consecutive packs, the probability of missing
all 2,000 is (0.9995)2000 ≈ 36.78%. That means your probability of getting at
least one is 63.22%, leaving a ~36.8% chance of walking away empty-handed. To reach a 90%
confidence level, you need roughly 4,604 packs.
How does the Resell toggle work in this calculator?
When "Token #" mode is active with Resell toggled ON, the calculator uses the expected token return from selling unwanted duplicate Blooks back to the shop. This lowers the effective token cost per pack (e.g. from 20 down to ~7.82 for the Space Pack), allowing you to simulate the real-world strategy of continuously reinvesting duplicate tokens into more packs.
Why is the Resell toggle disabled when Pack mode is selected?
When selecting "Pack #" mode, you are defining an exact, fixed count of packs to open (e.g., exactly 1,000 packs). Resale recycling only alters how many packs you can buy with a token budget, so it is locked when specifying a fixed pack count.
Can I pull multiple Chromas or Legendaries in one session?
Yes! Because each pull is independent, you can pull duplicates or multiple different rare Blooks. Our Exact Chances chart will show you the precise mathematical probability of pulling 1, 2, 3, or more copies within your selected token budget.
What are the rarest Blooks in the entire game?
The rarest Blooks in Blooket are Mysticals (such as the Spooky Ghost, Phantom King, and Tim the Alien), which cannot be unlocked from packs at all—they are awarded only to top tournament finishers or special event winners. Among pack-obtainable items, 0.02% Chromas like the Rainbow Panda are the rarest standard collectibles.
Does Blooket have a pity system or guaranteed timer?
No, Blooket does not feature a pity counter or bad-luck protection. Each pack is rolled independently using standard pseudorandom number generation, meaning your odds remain identical on every single attempt.
